What is Ridely I hear you ask? Ridely is a new App for riders for logging training and other activities and a learner tool. They have hundreds of videos on all sorts of disciplines like showjumping, dressage and natural horsemanship to name just a few. The app is free to download and use from the App Store and Google play. You can upgrade to Pro membership to get access to exclusive videos and upload longer videos.
My first experience with the app which was on the 13th of June 2020,
“I’ve just found this app this afternoon on a Facebook add. First look I thought this app looked really good so I decided to download. I’ve spent about 10 minutes on this app and I already love it! You can log training and even upload pictures and videos of your ride.

Logging and planning is not the only thing you can do in this app though. After picking your discipline/interest in the app it selects training video based of your choices. These videos are very detailed and the jumping ones even include course plans.

I am already feeling inspired by the videos and look forward to trying the exercises I have watched so far. Best of all this is ALL FREE! Based on my experience with the app so far I would definitely recommend anyone reading this goes and downloads the app.”

The app has inspired many of my trainings since I downloaded it an also encouraged me to try some new training methods like in hand work. I have most recently been focusing on the loading videos as Dino can sometimes not be the best loader and during this lockdown I though this would be a really good thing to focus on.
I find the calendar so good and love that there is one for each horse so you can see what you’ve done with each horse easily. Logging activities is super quick and easy with the option to create your own activities and plan activities so you can organise your week.
